Thank, I just got it. I had my input set as tt detect. I just switched it to probe triggered and it works great.

I am running a small mill. I have a fixed TT set up on G30. Tool changes work well. I have always used a 3D probe to find my corner position, then install a tool and manually set my Z, then recorded my Z using the Probeapp to get the first Z offset and run the beginning of the program without changing the Z height. Once a call for another tool, I can choose “subsequent tool change” to record a new offset. This is so convenient not having to keep track of a tool library.

My question is, can I use my 3D probe to find the X and Y as well as the initial Z height of my stock, then load a tool and record the new offset being the difference between the 3D probe and the Fixed TT? This would eliminate me having to set the Z offset with my eye or a feeler gauge.

I hope that makes sense. TIA
