Hooked up transformer ground on one hot another and on the other side reading 80vac. Hooked up the rectifier and capacitor and reading 109vdc so I say I am good on power supply.

Without a wiring schematic for the transformer, it's hard to tell. It's also why I don't just rip components out of a can net that might be reused. Clues exist as to how they were wired.

I agree that’s why I didn’t just rip it out I used my best guess of tracing wires. I only ask to see if anyone had the diagram or been in this situation before.

Then you were able to see the secondary side of the transformer wired to the bridge and the capacitor correct? Then mark that side of the transformer SECONDARY and the PRIMARY side PRIMARY.

It seems to me you are probably reading the correct DC voltages at the Capacitor as in your previous post.

Ok so I am trying to do conversions one lathe one mill. The mill has the same sem 140vdc and has a max 65 amp rating I have isolated both power supplies and both work so I have a good 140vdc power supply. I am having trouble understanding the options the stall amp rating is 11 amp and all in one says it only goes to 15amp. The MachDrive is 20amp to run acorn. Yes I am trying to be cheap because I am trying to do two machines. I would much prefer acorn due to pricing and having the motor and power supplies. The MachDrive comes out to $120 each. I want to use the same on all motors even if it’s an overkill for the lathe. So to cut to the chase ... how much performance would I loose running a 15amp allinone or a 20amp machdrives with acorn? Will it even be useable with a stall of 11amp and a max of 15 amp doesn’t to me seem like much room for load or am I missing something in the lingo? Does anyone know of a 65amp rated board? Also have I am going to be running a 4th axis so putting that in the mix since all in one does 3 without An add on. Now going to the ac servo since we are throwing it all out there since I will be making a final decision this week. If the machdrives won’t work what would be the comparable in size to the picture I have posted so I can shop around. Thank you for the insight.

Before everyone ask the mill has a fagor control but the driver boards are bad the computer works and powers on but the motor cards are no good.

Have you seen these: DG4S-16035 DC Servo Drive From CNCDrive?
You'll likely have to replace the encoders.

Me, as mentioned previously, All in One DC would be my first choice.
Second choice would probably be Acorn and NEMA AC servo motors and drives that take step and direction.
Third would probably be trying the DG4S drives (because they have been around a long time and have experience building them)

My opinion only
Marty

Thank you for the fast reply so the main question in all that was can someone break down this plate? In order to fully utilize I would need a board that is good for 65 amps or 15 amps ? Also if I choose a different motor at it the equivalent? 40lb/inch or like 200lb/inch or how many kw in the ac servo world?

That's can't be 65 amps....
