Why would you discount a schematic that Centroid created specific to their controllers and machine motion control? Centroid builds control cabinets.
Its all layed out for you...there are several things I disagree with on the video.
- The need for two incoming circuits
The use of one 24VDC power supply
I didn't see fusing or breakers
Use the Logic Power supply that comes with Acorn FOR Acorn.
I suggest using a separate power supply for contactors, solenoids etc.
I agree with taking ALL grounds and shield drains to ONE point
Centroid already worked most of this out in their system schematics. Have them printed at your office supply store full size and study them.
I follow their schematics in general for my builds. You must know an E.E. or electrical buddy...you might need someone to lean on. We can help, but post pictures and give lots of information. Vague information gets vague answers.
