Well I have the Servos bench tested and running under Acron, so good so far. :D

Before I mounted up the motors and cables, I thought I'd run the offending file.
And to my disappointment, motors X & Y jumping and vibrating just like on the machine. :x

Like Tim Allen , egg on my face, eyes balls rolling back in my skull, head in hands.

What on earth is wrong with this thing! I tried another file ran fine, multiply times.
Shut down CNC 12 restarted the PC,ran the same file and now it's jumping and vibrating.

What is going on here! AARR AARR AARR

 You know it's like the code changed or something. so i turned off smoothing.
Loaded sue tree file, FF to line N53030 hit cycle start Wait for it... wait for it....were is it nothing smooth as glass.
re ran both files a few times no jumping or vibrating.

So I don't know if smoothing is messing with the code or what.
Dan M. ran my file on his machine with no problem, but his machine is geared down on X&Y, mine is direct to the ball screws.
Thanks Dan

I had turned on smoothing to help with the banging, hope i don't have to turn it back on.

Live and learn

Update
Well I just couldn't leave it set up with out smoothing working, it had to be something else.
Not able to find anything in the control box wrong and all the software settings I tried still nothing.
So one last box to check, the CNCPC ,a dedicated one to just run the CNC,internet turned off.

(Checking my assumptions)
It worked just fine in testing and running most files. i5-2390T cpu, intel mob, intel ssd, 4gb ram, single thread 1720
BUT it always ran a little warm I thought. It was an eBay find.
I resolved myself to figure this out. I installed CNC12 Mill on my cobbled together PC ( my sons old gaming rig intel E8500 3.16ghz,4 gb ram, thread 1315).
Pluged in the Ethernet cable started CNC12 Loaded last report file jogged a little bit then loaded a file that has been giving me fits.
Zero it up hit cycle start ........flawless, 6 times ok try this file, it never worked ...flawless 2 times, I might be on to something here.
So lets see how good those new servos are , still with the second file loaded cycle start feed override 25% :) 40% ;) 50% :D COOOL.

I don't know if the CPU is bad or the Ethernet port on the mob is bad.
Got a refurb one from new egg on the way (Lenovo Thinkcentre M73 (TFF) Ultra Small Form Factor Tiny PC - Core i5 (4570T) 2.9GHz Dual Core CPU - 128GB SSD - 8GB RAM -) thread 1983

Man I hope this cures it !!!

Thanks for the update. Make sure all the PC drivers are up to date especially the Ethernet port, you have turned off all power saving features in Windows. I personally make sure all Windows updates have been run.

Keep us posted!

Are any of the other files, that ran fine, longer than the suspect file?

I ran his file that was given him problems a while ago and it has a ton of small quick moves in it. It's very complex, like he was saying looks like a sewing machine. It reminded me of the embroidery machines running back when I was in the apparel industry. That file has a high thread count lol.

It would be interesting to have one of the Centroid Tech's weigh in on what is going on with the control in relation to the CNCPC on complicated cut file's. It ran fine on my Lenovo with a similar score of 1750 but my machine has 8g RAM. Maybe his didn't have enough RAM or like he said something else is wrong with the PC. I'm curious what the Acorn puts the most load on, the processor or memory?

Here's the thing Rob
The first file (2D Shamrocks) takes 14 mins to cut 75 ipm. I would come in the morning turn everything on run that file 3 to 4 times in a row perfect.
Run it one more time, it would make it to the 2nd shamrock one time and start acting up like in the video, or sometimes on the first one or right from the get go maybe a minute in. Just randomly start messing up during that file.

The second file (sues tree. A V carve type tool path) the one I posted would always start in the same spot just after N53030 every time.
Even with smoothing turned off it seemed to struggle to me. That file is.... according to Vetric is 2:45:09 mins long never made it to the end lol, its about 15 minutes before line 53030 and the problem shows up.

The first eagle I 3D carved did it a little bit, you can see it the carving. Another 3D file I tried 6 hours long would go to 5 hrs 30 mins and of course mess the whole thing up. Did that one twice  and it messed up in the same spot too.
So I think it might be the CPU were it always ran a little warm.

Here is a pic of the 6 hour file
its in the upper right corner if you cant tell lol it was a test piece of wood 2x12

On more thing I didn't think about, you're not trying to run the files off a flash drive are you? I've seen others have problems if they don't download the CNC file to the PC. Just throwing it out there since it's a lot cheaper than buying a new PC. Disregard if you already knew this.

Nope ,didn't even have the the thumb drive in on the 6 hour 3D file 2nd run

I wonder what's up with your PC that's causing the problem. Hopefully you figure it out so the rest of us know where to look if we experienced the same thing.

Ya.. stay away from eBay for critical CNC parts lol
