Ive also seen this and its caused me to crash my lathe, fortunately not bad but had to realign the toolpost etc.
In my case Ive got both higher end Dell and Illayma monitors, both have done this.

Re: Sticky Jog Buttons
If its any consolation, the more you use the ASUS touchscreens mentioned above, the less it happens. And when it does, simply tap to stop the axis motion.
I have a customer supplied ASUS VT229 that I cannot make the axis "stick on" no matter how hard I try. (multi touch)
I also use a ViewSonic TD2210 that also performs as expected. (single touch)

Re: Sticky Jog Buttons
I'm using the 15.6" Asus touch screen and I have never had it "stick" the only issue I had with a touch screen is when I used my IPad with Duet. So maybe try getting a Asus since they don't seem to have any issues.

Re: Sticky Jog Buttons
Is anyone here on the forum using one of the 23" Dell or HP all-in-one pc's with a touch screen? I'm interested in getting one of these and would hope not to have any "sticky button" issues.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Sticky Jog Buttons
BTW, the ASUS 15.6" Touchscreen was one of the ones that I noted the "sticking" issue on. That said, my fat finger could be a major part of the issue.

Re: Sticky Jog Buttons
FWIW, I'm using a Dell 24 Touch Monitor (P2418HT) on my Wabeco mill and just tried rolling my finger while raising the Z axis (Z+ direction) . I had to seriously exaggerate the gesture several times but eventually experienced continuous movement - Movement stopped immediately after a quick subsequent touch of Z+.
Have to say that I have never experienced this before but can obviously see how it could be a problem with a rapid move close to work piece although I avoid that.

Hope this helps

I never would have thought about that Gary I'll have to try using a sausage next time I'm running the router. But seriously I'm going to see if I can get my touch screen to do it since I haven't noticed the problem yet.Gary Campbell wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 8:40 am BTW, the ASUS 15.6" Touchscreen was one of the ones that I noted the "sticking" issue on. Maybe it's because I tend to use the MPG and keyboard for the most part. I also wonder if the build date has something to do with it. I got my Asus VT168H in August of last year. How old is the monitor you had the problem with, or has it been with multiple monitors that are the same model?
