Let's put a time stamp in... The update started June 28 th and today is July 9th. I only have so much patience to do this kind of stuff . It either works or it doesn't, if I have to spend time researching how to make it right I feel like not fully tested software is a hassle and I'm the Guinea pig

In this time I have tested several updates for beta testing on two full customized machines with Acorn6....

I cannot read what your problem really is here?

I just use NP++ to compare the VCP skin and PLC after an update to redo any custom editing if it is needed.

Uwe, it makes a difference whether you have an Acorn or Oak control unit. Oak owners have to pay money for a modified plc. Acorn users get the modified plc for free. Every update of the software will overwrite the plc and then the madness begins.

Free is only what comes out of the wizard, beyond this you have to pay also if Centroid is making custom changes.

But we all have the option to read the PLC manual and DIY for free.
