Do you have this diagram?
https://www.centroidcnc.com/dealersuppo ... 265.r2.pdf
The driver power leads go to a 48 volts power supply. Did you start a google album with pics so we could see the entire system/setup you have. The few pics you posted do not show a drive power supply.
Remember spread those drive out so they don't overheat.

I do have that diagram but it leaves out where the power leads from the CL57T's go to. On the previous controller they were connected to power blocks on the actual controller board so I thought it would be similar here but the diagram doesn't say anything.ShawnM wrote: ↑Mon Sep 08, 2025 3:42 pm Do you have this diagram?

This is where they were hooked before, to the same controller board along the bottom there.

On a side note, if anyone wants to visit Key West, FL I have a spare efficiency apartment 2 blocks from Duval St. downtown that I'd be willing to trade a stay at for help getting this machine setup if someone has the experience doing it. Would also throw in a boat ride if you hang around enough to show me a few tips using it. Serious offer; few nights stay for free for a few hours help setting this thing up if I haven't done so yet!

rip that board outta there you are not going to use it.
use the 'system' schematics as a general guide that shows a typical overall hookup.

I'm in Clearwater but working on a prior commitment. If I wasn't I'd fly my plane down and take you up on that offer.eh1524 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 08, 2025 5:42 pm On a side note, if anyone wants to visit Key West, FL I have a spare efficiency apartment 2 blocks from Duval St. downtown that I'd be willing to trade a stay at for help getting this machine setup if someone has the experience doing it. Re: Build Thread - Shariff DMC2 Retrofit to Acorn
As Keith stated, remove that board. Look around the cabinet for some power supplies and post pics.
Please start a Google album with all your photos in one place so we can see what you are working with and point you in the right direction.
We would prefer you us a online photo album and post the link to it so all your images will be in one spot, not spread over a bunch of posts..having all the photos in one location makes it easier for all to understand your project and give you good advice.

Depending on how the forum assisted install goes and your prior commitment, the offer might still be viable when you free up!ShawnM wrote: ↑Mon Sep 08, 2025 10:19 pmI'm in Clearwater but working on a prior commitment. Re: Build Thread - Shariff DMC2 Retrofit to Acorn
Ok, I've removed that old board already, just posted an old picture to show the connections. I've also uploaded most if not all the photos I have into the google album for ease of viewing. I see a stepper motor power supply but it was connected to the previous setup a different way so I'm a bit confused as to which way to connect it and where it should be placed. This PS is shown in the pics.ShawnM wrote: ↑Mon Sep 08, 2025 10:22 pm As Keith stated, remove that board. Look around the cabinet for some power supplies and post pics.

You now have to post a link to that google album so we can see the pics.
