To use relay 1 (terminals R1 and R1C) as a fault indication, you have to set P3.11 = 1, "Drive Fault".
The default for P3.11 is 0, "Drive Running". That is why your control thinks there is a fault as soon as the drive starts to run.

Setting the P3.11 = 1, "Drive Fault" worked!
The next issue is that it comes on full blast. The 0-10v speed control must be messed up.

I called Automation Direct about the spindle speed control and was able to program the frequency set point on the VFD. Now the speed control works.
This mill has a high an low speed range. I assume that a limit switch on the lever is required to send a low / high signal to CNC12. Correct?

Any advice on how to get this acceleration test to work? I have changed acceleration values and also distance. I'm not able to get the green trace to flatten out. It's not getting up to speed fast enough.

You will need non-zero values in Ka, and probably in Kv1.
As a starting point, try maybe Kv1 = 20 and Ka = 20. They are both on a scale of 0-100.
You will probably find that Kv1 doesn't do much; but Ka should help with your acceleration response.
Do you really think your motors can turn fast enough to move the table and saddle at 595 in/min?

CNCSNW thanks for your help! So much for plug n Play. Lol. This software setup has been kicking my butt!
Maybe I missed something on the acceleration testing. The 595 in/min was calculated like this (3500 motor RPM/ 5 Rev per in) * .85 = 595. The documentation for the motor says 3500 RPM. However, I see that the motor says 1550 rpm that would put the in/min at 263.5. So I need to find out why the spec is different.
The manual doesn't say anything about Kv1 and Ka and shows them at zero. From what I read, it's basically saying to get the acceleration up to the point that the mill starts to shake and back off untill it's running smoothly. Hopefully, changing K1 and Ka will get me straightened out. You have been extremely helpful and got me this far in the testing phase. I'm sure you're right as you have been so far. Thank You! There are just a couple steps left to finish the testing. Looking forward to making chips soon!!!

yep, put a switch on it to let the control know which range you are in.

Got any updates for us?
Were you able to get the Acceleration values figured out?
It could be worth doing an Autotune and letting CNC12 set the values for you and then adjust them from there.
Section 6.7 of the Allin1DC manual touches on this very briefly.
