Hello, I installed CHIPS then I get the following error:

window 3.png
Any thoughts on how to fix this? Many thanks.
As the first error message indicates, there's a communication problem between CNC12 and the Virtual Control Panel (VCP) to generate the bitmap file of your current VCP Layout.
What version of CNC12 are you using? CHIPS requires CNC12 v 5.10 or newer.
Please post a fresh CNC12 report file.

Ok I had version 4.64, so have downloaded and installed 5.1. Now I cannot clear the "Reset tripped" button; pushing it does nothing. So I am stuck at that stage.
I have taken screen shots of the wizard config screens in 4.64 (which was workign beautifully) and have attempted to replicate them in 5.1 but am not sure how to clear this reset button.
Current report (5.1) is attached.

Change Reset form NO to NC in the Wizard could help...
Uwe
yes it did, thank you. Not sure how I missed it -- but a noob mistake. Thanks for catching it.
And with the new install, CHIPS installed without a problem. That said I miss the probing menu from the earlier version, with the large icons for the profiles (hole, boss, web, corner etc) easily visible.
Will use it some more to become comfortable. Next will set all my tool heights/offsets.

New to CNC12 and have been looking for better ways to probe/manage the tool library and this looks awesome! I am using a rack mount ATC (Avid Benchtop Pro), does the system have support for them yet? If not full functionality does it maintain some functionality/is it still useable?

I'm working on the enhanced Rack-ATC functionality for CHIPS, like the ProbeApp has. I can't give an ETA yet when it will be available as I have higher priorities at the moment.
However if you are using the CNC12 built-in ATC function or have developed your own, it will be supported by the current version of CHIPS.

I have released CHIPS Version 2.02 which contains these minor changes that were requested by users:
Tool Type Face Mill has been added. The current version does map tool type Face Mill to type End Mill
All Operation Mode 3, Single Probe Method screens have now a new Cycle Button for manual tool height offset measurements. This has been added to cover the situation where a tool can’t be measured with the movable TT on top of the stock because the tool is too long or the stock too thick. This cycle requires the tool to be jogged down manually until it touches the stock surface.
Here’s a screenshot showing the new manual cycle button:
Let me know if you have any questions.

I just added to my original post the "Thank You" to Keith and his amazing team at Centroid to actively supporting the development of CHIPS by adding functionality to the Centroid API to make CHIPS possible.

Thanks, great working with you as well you are an asset to the DIY CNC community! -Keith
Hey Keith, CHIPS really is such a valuable asset to both the Team at Centroid and us Users, it really deserves to be better promoted.
Any chance you can make this thread a sticky as this makes it much easier to reference, especially on external Forums.
TIA
Hope this helps
