Are you using wireless speakers? This sounds like you're experiencing some sort of interference between two wireless devices operating at the same frequency.

FWIW, since I installed 5.18 my MPG will occasionally have very jumpy movements. If I spin the wheel the machine will sort of lurch along, and I see the DRO numbers on the MPG increment very slowly. When I restart the computer the problem disappears. It sort of looks like there is a very slow polling.
Have not gone through installation of 5.2

maybe mpg is going bad? v5.18 and v5.20 is running hundreds of wmpg's with no complaints so i dont' think its a CNC12 thing you are experiencing.grossmsj wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2024 7:01 pm FWIW, since I installed 5.18 my MPG will occasionally have very jumpy movements. hmm well that is odd. there has been no changes on the wireless mpg that i can think of that would cause that.

Yea, I don't know. My MPG is new, only a few operations with it. Like I said, I Haven't experienced the noise with any lower versions. Maybe I will reinstall v5.20. Just For fun, see what happens.

I don't know if this is the correct place to post this, but I have an issue with the "Job Run Options" -> "Search" function since updating to 5.22. The first time I use search (since starting CNC12), it works fine. The second time I happen to use it, it causes the application to crash (CNC12 exits). I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue and whether there is a fix?
Small update, I tried this in the "offline" version and experienced the same behavior.

If you are experiencing similar behavior, it is fixed and will be part of the next beta/release.
