Hi Uwe, thanks for the hint. Right now i am testen Parameters for All Materials and i found out, that with f0,3 i can Break the Chips also in titanium.

I am trying to do everything in Intercon but Delrin is a bit of a nightmare with the swarf. It just doesn't chip like metal unless you peck, in my experience. Speed doesn't seem to make much of a difference for this material.
I don't use fusion, and to keep things simple I really want to try to avoid CAD/CAM entirely except if I absolutely need it for a special case. It's just so much easier to set something up in Intercon and let it go. In a previous post in this thread, Uwe mentioned writing a function with a sub-program to do this. Has anyone done this before and if so would you be willing to share it or explain to a newbie how to go about it?

You can get acetal to break chips with a fast enough feedrate, but the downside is that it also chips out the surface as well. I find that I need to leave at least 0.5mm or 0.02" per side for a finish cut to remove the surface pitting, and just resign myself to hassle with the stringy chips on the finish pass.

A pecking function for turning written in g-code would not be integrated in Intercon.
The only cycles with pecking in Intercon are Cut Off and Drill (Tap on the mill)
One way would be Centroid is integrating pecking in other cycles.
Another way is a feedrate variation function, also best done by Centroid, or DIY in the PLC misusing FinalFeedOverride_W like I have done with the Spindle Speed Variation.
