Question to centroid467:
With this upcoming BOB, can you use a 6 terminal MPG (+5V, 0V, A, B, /A, /B) and just not hookup the /A, /B terminals and use it as a 4 terminal MPG? Or must one specifically buy only a 4 terminal +5V, 0V, A, and B MPG?

I think it will be best to use it as designed: for a 4 terminal MPG.
I'll do some experiments when I have time because I am curious myself.

Good morning.
I have a lot of interest in this option coming soon. Will it be necessary to use one mpg wheel per axle?
Or will only one with an axis selection button be possible?

Good morning!
USBBOB can be configured to work that way! We have similar function on our regular MPG products so if that configuration is not supported in the new USBBOB Wizard pages then it will be possible through custom PLC. Thankfully, I believe it is planned for inclusion in the USBBOB Wizard page.

I am currently laying out the electronics in my lathe and want to leave some space for this new board in case I decide to get it. Are there dimensions available? An approximate size is ok, but position of the mounting holes even better, so I can pre-drill some standoffs for it. I'd rather do that now than have to remove everything later to drill and tap some holes. Thanks!

Hello, I will try and get a drawing of the mounting holes together tomorrow.
