Current thinking is to go up to an Acorn6 on this one, so I/O will be better. I bought another Acorn with an Ether1616 board, but thinking about encoder inputs for scales and so on, plus more axis for 'stuff', I am reconsidering and will likely sell the Acorn later.
I'd like to keep it as stock as I can on the macro side as I haven't done anything with them up to now. But I also think knowing/checking the racks are where they're supposed to be as part of the change operation likely makes sense. Which means sensors.
Guess I answered my own question really and I should just assume I am going to have to get up to speed with making a custom macro. Or modifying a canned one to some extent anyway.
Thanks for the help.
