Thanks Tom. I checked that out as well, and even put anti-seize on the key just to rule it out.

SOLVED - Finaly after many attempts... I put a scant amount of anti-seize on and it has not got stuck in months! At the end of the day, what looked like rubbing and a soft spindle was actually had deposits create from too much anti-seize. Works like a charm now!
