Not a bad deal at all at $199. Shot a note to support to see if it's too late to do the swap out program since I already purchased a replacement. If not, I save $100. If it is, I'll probably do the swap out anyway to have a test board until it goes on a second machine at some point. Appreciate the tip.

Following-up. Received the new Acorn board and it works perfectly.

Note: Once you order a new Acorn and it's been shipped from Centroid, you can't do the swap-out program. A little bureaucratic, but won't be a problem for me considering the grand plan to eventually do a CNC lathe as well (if I can ever figure this out).

Whatever happened to the spindle output also seems to have burned up my DC spindle motor control board. So, looking into options for either replacing it or going with an AC Servo (like a 1.3kw or 1.8kw DMM) with encoder for rigid tapping purposes -- cost-benefit will dictate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Meanwhile, the mechanical parts of the mill are all sorted, leveled, trammed, one-shot oiled and working perfectly.
