Go into parameters and search for Parameter 348 MPG 1 Encoder input set it from 15 to zero
(You are going to have to change it if you run a wireless MPG or a standard wired MPG)
(TB313 attached for reference)

No, you need to wire in an Estop button. Its the only way to reset an error. Should be a priority for you to get done.

The "Machine Setup Not complete" is the system test. You must not have watched all my All in One DC videos. :geek:

Also look at PERFORMING A SYSTEM TEST in the All in One DC Installation manual.

Marty, not to be out of place but my all in one is sitting on a table. I got the encoder fault dealt with but still when I push Alt-s I get a message home not set. Yes I have watched the videos and read the documentation so many times I see it my sleep. This sheet you provided In the down load means nothing to me with out explanation. Your confusing me more than helping. Bob

Sorry, I can't "see what you see" You didn't say you were still bench testing...I don't think

You can't do a system test until your machine is complete and ready to do the system test. Hence the video and the section of the manual I referred you to.

I assume you are following the installation manual...it tells you how to invert the inputs for the home switches.
IF you provide a report (F7 Utilities, F7 Create Report) we can take a look to see what is going on.

The sheet I provided showed you the parameters specifically for the MPG encoder input. And so you had it in case you DID install an MPG so you could set it back.

You can do it either way. Please post a fresh report.

What are you trying to accomplish at this point?

The same thing I've been trying to do for two weeks. A bench test.

Sounds like you are getting frustrated. We are trying to do the best we can given the information you are providing. Pictures, videos and report would be of more help.
The installation guide for All in One DC is accurate... back up and try and follow again starting from Chapter 4. Let us know which section of Chapter 4 you are getting hung up on.
Post a fresh report please... there is information in that report that can tell us the current configuration of your setup including any error logs.

Re: Spindlebenchtest

It's Saturday folks, For two straight weeks all I have tried to do is accomplish a bench test. I'm no closer now than when I started this project three months ago. I would love to post the so call report but it gives me a list to choose from and I have no idea how to harvest it once I've created it if I could. With that said, I'm about to throw the towel in on this albatross. I don't even know if I have the right PLC installed do to not be able to see the screen shots in the instructions. I will add, It says Setup: CNC12-D Mill V4.14, System ID 0925192286. In the unlock screen I get
MPU PLC:Centroid-Stanard-Mill-allin1-DC-R6.SRC. If ya give me a road map for creating a report and how to extract it? I will post it. Bob

Does this help any?
http://www.cncsnw.com/report.htm

Do you post to the forum from the same computer you have CNC12 installed on? Or do you have a dedicated computer for the control, and a different one for internet?

If it is the same computer, you can just choose "[reportbackup]" as the destination to store the report, instead of a USB drive; then look in the c:\cncm\reportbackup folder for the .zip file with the newest date code.

If it is a separate computer, then you will want to use a USB drive. That will typically show up in the list as "[ d: ]", though it could be a higher letter (e.g. "[ e: ]" or "[ f: ]") if you have a CD-ROM drive or second hard drive in the computer.

Of course, if you have Machine Parameter 4 set to 8 or 9, then you will see a Windows "Save File" dialog box, instead of a Centroid menu screen. To keep things simple, I recommend setting Machine Parameter 4 to a value of 5.
