I did suggest you take screen shots with Windows 10 Snipping tool and hand key in the values in a fresh install. You can restore the last good report if you wish and see if it works ok.

Our CPU benchmark was 1563 and Centroid suggests a minimum benchmark of 1500. Could being that close be a reason we're having trouble running some of our g-code files?

Unlikely. Post one of your files here and let us know what kind of "trouble" you are having. If you are getting errors, post a screenshot.

Thank you to all who responded to this post. I built a new computer and currently testing. So far, able to cut at 50ipm without problem. No errors. I tweaked the deadstop and delta setting a bit to prevent banging with direction change that I think was contributing to the problems. Mine defaulted to 3.0ipm and tabs from Vcarve caused the machine to decel sharply and sound rough. I have also changed the accel/decel up to 0.75sec. I will keep testing...hoping for reliable cuts at 100ipm.

In response to the previous post about cutting errors and CPU spec, I would provide this in reference: My old computer with A10 AMD scored low on the single thread chart, about 1200. I probably should have done a clean Win10 install before configuring for CNC12. Using task manager, the CPU usage was excessive without any programs running except CNC12. Around the 70% mark and HDD usage also fluctuated a lot. I believe this had mostly to do with the individual computer and not a problem to be generalized. There are many other factors that probably contribute more to the function of the machine than CPU speed alone. However, if you think the CPU is a problem, run task manager and view the CPU usage in real time. Set up the machine for a test run without the spindle running and watch/listen. Use very conservative feedrate. Pay special attention to when things don't sound right. If there is a repeatable error then CPU is likely not the issue. Good luck and please post more details.

Success! Everything working great. Smoothing really helped. Cuts to 100ipm are smooth and fast enough for my hobby needs. Thanks again guys.
