
Can you get support for the Fueling VFD from its manufacturer?
Suggest you buy GS1 or GS2 from Automation Direct.com or one of Factorymation.com TD series drives.
All that said, I will take a stab at what you need based on READING the manual.
Did you read the VERY first post on this thread?
DCM=Common for Inputs (Wire to Acorn Relay FWD COM, and Acorn Relay REV COM)
FWD=Spindle Forward. (Wire to Acorn Relay FWD NO)
REV=Spindle Reverse. (Wire to Acorn Relay REV NO)
RST=Drive Reset (Wire to Acorn Relay assigned to Drive Reset)
C=Multifunction Output Common. (Wire to Acorn COM)
A=Multifunction Output NO
B=Multifunction Output NC (You will have to see which one is closed when the drive is in a normal state. By checking continuity between C and A, C and B. Whichever shows continuity when the drive is on and in no fault state, wire this output to an Acorn Input. Assign the input to SpindleOK)
VI=VFD Analog Signal input (Wire to Acorn Spindle Analog output +)
ACM=VFD Analog Signal COM (Wire to Acorn Spindle Analog output COM)
NO CONNECTION TO VFD 10V! DO NOT CONNECT THIS TO ACORN OR YOU MAY DAMAGE THE ACORN SPINDLE ANALOG OUTPUT
PARAMETER SETTINGS
Set:
00=0001(Command frequency input determined by the analog signal)
01=0001 (Operating instructions determined by the external terminal connections) keypad STOP key effective
45=0009 (Multifunction output FAULT)
Did you watch my video on setting up an Automation Direct GS1 and benchtesting it before connecting to Acorn? I suggest you do, and you bench test the drive with jumpers and a battery BEFORE connecting it to Acorn!
These are just my best guesses. You still have to setup Accel/Decel, Lower/Upper Frequency limits, and any basic motor parameter settings (Volts, Amps, HZ etc)
