Something else to mention and correct. The drives should not be mounted like they are. There needs to be space between them for cooling. They will overheat and shut down or worse if driven hard the way they are mounted now.

Post a pic of the drive once you remove one so we can provide you with the proper diagram for wiring.

Definitely have the CL57T, I'm going to hook up the leads as you mentioned but I'm still not sure where to hook up the power leads.

Keith, this isn't going to work out like this with me reading diagrams. Not the way I work I guess. How can we setup some paid support time to walk through this setup? Is there anything included in the purchase? If not I'm fine with paying for support but I would have to do it in the afternoon after 5pm eastern on most days. Is that possible? Thanks for your help, this is just too much to tackle without understanding alot of basics.

The schematic shows things hooking up to a Meanwell RD-35B but I don't have that, this is extremely frustrating to see the diagram and not see the actual components that correspond.

The powersupply in one of your pic is looking like a RD-35B, at least it is with the same connections. So what is the problem?

If you mean the power leads for the stepper driver itself, they go to the terminals labelled "+VCC" and "GND" on the left most pluggable terminal block. This is two pins and has red and black wires connected in your photos above.

Your Acorn came with the Meanwell RD-35B and is most likely shown in the photo "IMG_3485.jpg" in this post: viewtopic.php?p=103501#p103501.

I don't see any pictures or mention of a DB25 breakout board.
You'll need one of these to connect your stepper drives to your Acorn.
The Acorn install manual goes over this on page 34:

Yeah, I totally get it and I'm willing to do the work, just frustrating sometimes when there's one little thing or question holding me up and I have to post and wait. At the moment I only get to work on this a couple hours a week in the evenings so it just makes it hard to keep progress and pace without somewhere to ask questions that are time critical or would otherwise delay progress. I really do appreciate everyone on the board being so helpful. I did find the meanwell device where that 5v power lead goes but I'm still not seeing where exactly the drive power leads go, there seems to be two different places. I'll be there trying again this evening so I'll update this then. Thanks again!
