Best option for a dust collector is metal duct from the dust collector to directly above the table. All this is now grounded to the dust collector. Then your flex hose can run down to the machine. You can even run a bare copper wire inside the flex hose for additional ground or buy the anti-static flex hose. Dust collection can be a "noise nightmare".
Our setup runs 8" metal duct from the cyclone vac to the center of the table then turns down 90° via two 45° elbows to a 4" reducer 4" for the anti-static flex hose from Dust-Right.
