for double tape you can use a cutter blade and start on one edge.
Heating is also ok, but that must be over 120 deg C . An oven will work to heat it if the torch is too small.

Use MAPP gas next time if needed and not Butane. MAPP gas burns way hotter than Butane so it'll release faster.

+1200 deg C with Camping Gas
It depends more on the burner than on the gas

Perhaps a tad less super glue next time.

Unfortunately, you can't buy MAPP gas anymore in NA. The crap being sold as MAP-Pro barely burns hotter than Propane: 3730 vs 3600°F but costs twice as much.

Yes, I should have said MAP-Pro. I buy the Bernzomatic cylinders at Home Depot and use them to remove bearings that have retaining compound on them. MAP-Pro has significantly more heat transfer in the flame than propane even though it burns only slightly hotter. With the faster heat transfer you spend less time burning gas.

Thanks guys. I ended up using loctite professional. That stuff is strong. In the future I will definitely use it a bit more sparingly. At the end of the day, I ended up using a small butane torch, heating the corner for a few minutes, liquid came out and then I lifted the corner with a sharp chisel. All good!
I think the aluminum dissipates the heat very quickly, but I am fairly certain a propane torch would work wonders. Just have to pick up a can of propane.
Thanks... Richard

Any secret as to how to remove this thing. It is stuck. I put a bit of acetone on it with no luck. Hammered the side, no luck. Any ideas
I usually just take a 5 in 1 and get between the table and bottom layer of tape and give it a good bump with the heel of my hand. That is usually good enough to get it loose enough to remove from the table.

My little brother is an engineer gone master woodworker in his retirement. He said he used this stuff before and just a little spray debonds almost everything. Has anyone tired this stuff on CA? It is a bit expensive:
