Thanks, I saw your note about not using a TIN coating and realized earlier in the post, I linked to the wrong tooling. That taps I purchased have a TiCN coating. Thanks for your thoughts. In the future I will try the forming taps.

When encountering resistance while tapping into 1018 cold-rolled steel, try adjustments such as increasing the speed, using lubricant, gradually increasing the depth, etc., to complete the tapping process smoothly.Regarding other matters, there are too many words to type out, please refer to this:
