- Travel limits and Work Envelope will only be shown on the graph if a rotary move is not present or Parameter 150 bit 2 (Add 4) is set
- P150 bit 6 (Add 64) will hide the 'extended' tools on the graph when the graph is first launched
- Wizard will write Input State when tripped for Touch Plate rather than the tripped detect being set in input definitions
- Added new color schemes
- graph fixes
- menu enter key fixes
- other minor bug fixes

What I can test on my mill, it is ok so far besides the graph display...
I really like the updated UI optimized for a smooth workflow with a router supplemented with cool new graphics.
But really, no Mist and Flood Outputs in the Wizard? Most router users I know in Germany doing a lot of aluminum cutting with Mist cooling.

mist and flood m7 and m8 are dust collection and vac hold down in the router version. which could be used for anything of course.

sure, but misusing M7/8 for other things than Mist and Flood is leaving the ISO 6983 standard....cnckeith wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2024 3:18 pmthanks, we will make the function key menu tree change to Mill in v5.2 as well.suntravel wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2024 2:05 pm What I can test on my mill, it is ok so far besides the graph display...

No mist cooling will work in g-code generated with fusion when the CNC turns on dust collection instead of mist for example.
I would prefer to use other M functions for dust and vacuum.

quite rare for router users to use flood and mist so it was an easy thing to do at the time to support dust and vacsuntravel wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2024 3:37 pmsure, but misusing M7/8 for other things than Mist and Flood is leaving the ISO 6983 standard....cnckeith wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2024 3:18 pmthanks, we will make the function key menu tree change to Mill in v5.2 as well.suntravel wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2024 2:05 pm What I can test on my mill, it is ok so far besides the graph display...

I do have a mist system on my router to do aluminum & brass, in addition to the Router Dust Collection.cnckeith wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2024 4:18 pmquite rare for router users to use flood and mist so it was an easy thing to do at the time to support dust and vacsuntravel wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2024 3:37 pmsure, but misusing M7/8 for other things than Mist and Flood is leaving the ISO 6983 standard....

Re: CNC12 Router Restructure Beta Software thread. RC2 Now available, July 23rd
That's the beauty of CNC12 and it's fully customizable VCP. I was setting up a router the other day and removed those buttons as I cut aluminum and copper dry with Amana O flute bits.
Maybe one day the VCP buttons will be "drag and drop".

Re: CNC12 Router Restructure Beta Software thread. RC2 Now available, July 23rd
Sure, no deal to make it work, but even Intercon on a router is posting M7 if Mist is selected in the tool lib.
This one shortcut misusing M7 for Dust has a long rattail now.
If it is changed correctly to maybe M107, lots of users will curse Centroid because they have to change something

IMHO the best bet is to stay with ISO 6983 for all basic functions.
