So I think I understand. 12 to 24 volt PS to take power to servo enable, I assume this has to be hot in order For the servo to work, Then set up each internal speed command for forward and reverse, running the 24 volts through the forward and reverse switch on the lathe. Of course run the 24 volts for servo enable through the power button on the panel of the lathe. The power side of the wiring seems to be pretty straight forward.

That's basically it! You can configure whether it needs to be open circuit or conducting to enable and select the forward or reverse speeds with the drive's input selection parameters.
