Oak Install replacing OSAI controller on NEWCNC
Does anyone have experience replacing OASI Controller/ I Dont have wiring diagram of "NEWCNC" brand router and looking for wiring diagram of OSAI open controller with A664 bridge so maybe i dont have to trace all the wires. any suggestions would be appreciated

Re: Oak Install replacing OSAI controller on NEWCNC
I helped a customer retrofit a NewCNC router table with an Oak a few years ago.
I don't recall whether that machine had an Osai controller previously. I think it may have been NewCNC's homegrown control. That control used a couple Koyo / DirectLogic DL105 PLC units to handle the I/O. We removed those and just ran all the I/O to the Oak unit and a PLCADD1616.
That machine had Yaskawa servo drives and motors (Sigma II, SGDH drives).
What type of servo drives and motors does your machine have?
What type of spindle drive does your machine have?

It does have Yaskawa servo drives and a delta spindle drive, tool changer , 2yaxis drives

Re: Oak Install replacing OSAI controller on NEWCNC
Controlling the Yaskawa servos and the Delta spindle drive with an Oak unit will be relatively straightforward.
Bringing all the I/O back to the control cabinet (including the items on the gantry and head that were wired to the expansion DL105 PLC module) is a bigger challenge, because the cable carriers are already overfilled, and you will need to pull additional cables for the I/O wiring. You will need to use cable that is rated for "continuous flexing" for anything that goes through the cable carriers.
Attached are schematics for an Oak retrofit on a machine similar to yours, but with some custom additions and changes that the machine owner chose to make: auto lube unit, vacuum pressure monitoring switches, etc..
