I have looked at your products with great interest. I have an old CNC equipped with DKC11.3-040-7-FW by Rexroth Indramat on XYZ. It uses ± 10 volts at the input to determine rotation and speed control. Do you have a product that is compatible with that?

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Our Oak is compatible with +/- 10V analog input drives in velocity mode and can control up to 4 axes without additional expansion boards. Oak is p/n 15000.

For these drives, I would recommend our Oak to Flying Lead cables p/n 13133.


Please note that this retrofit is not recommended for first time retrofitters.

That warning was more because we officially support installations with Yaskawa and certain Delta drive models, have documentation on configuring the drives and CNC12, and have ready-made cables to interface directly with those drives.

Other drives are not officially supported in that manner but many different types have been used with great success. Having some familiarity with wiring and configuring servo drives and CNC controls would be valuable here because we don't have instructions that say exactly what is needed with these drives.


Things to pay attention to would include:
* Correct wiring of the drive to the Oak
* Tuning of the position loop in CNC12
* Any PLC program modifications required


Does this machine have an ATC? Any unusual features? Pictures could help us determine whether you'll need any PLC expansion boards or if the Oak itself will suffice.
