I have a battery hooked up now and still getting nothing. The battery is a 9v. the - terminal of the battery is hooked to the ANLV terminal of the TX board and the + terminal of the battery is hooked to the Gnd terminal on the TX board. With my multi-meter testing the voltage at the tx board, I am getting 9.5 volts.

What are the odds that I got a defective board? When I took the tx and rx boards out of the packaging they didn't have any connectors with them. I messaged Nancy and she had some connectors sent out to me. Just seems strange that they were missing parts and now I can't seem to get the THC working. It seems to be a rather simple setup to be having this many troubles.

Seems like it.

The Phoenix connectors are in a separate bag when shipped.

Nancy will have an RMA and Instructions for the TX board Replacement tomorrow.

It worked great! I am working on mounting the electronics to the back panel and I had yet another question. Should I run the 36 VDC (power for the stepper drives) through a relay that is controlled by the no faults output? I am mainly wondering if that can cause other problems restarting a job after some kind of fault. I have always just wired them into an E-stop contactor in the past. Just wondering what you would recommend in the CNC world?

Thanks again,
Jeremy

Jeremy

The Drive Power supply wired through the E-stop contactor is good.

As far as Hitting E-stop there may be a loss of position, and it is recommended to Re-Home the machine to ensure Everything is lined up.
