Allin1DC VFD wiring

Post by routebot »

Im working on a knee mill CNC conversion. I connected the some of the wires but, I'm not sure about the rest. The VFD doesn't use the same labels as Centroid. Looking for clarity. Thanks!

These connection points called out are for the OAK board, but the wire numbers and colors will match.

Thanks for the correct wiring diagram. I assume the remaining 5 wires are not used. Correct?

Optionally, you could jumper YEL from R1 to DOC, then connect WHT/BRN from DO3 to INP12 on the Allin1DC.

That would give you a "spindle zero speed" signal, which can be useful in some situations.

However, on a knee mill with no PLC control of the drawbar and with no automated gear shifting, you probably don't need it.
