CNC12 Demo

Post by cncjeff1 »

Can anyone point me to a place where I can download a demo version of the current CNC12 software? Or am I just being obtuse and it is included in the regular software package? There used to be a demo program that could be downloaded to a standard Windows PC that would simulate the Centroid software (all of the screens including Intercon) for a demonstration at a customer site.

Thanks, I was just not sure, when I saw Offline Intercon. At one point, I think the Offline Intercon was a separate installation.

it not really a demo. that's why its not called a demo. :D

The Centroid CNC control is a hybrid PC based control. The Centroid CNC12 software runs on a Windows 10/11 PC but the Motion control (and PLC function) is performed by our hardware. Without the hardware connected CNC12 is very limited on what it can do.
you can run g code and you can program parts with Intercon, but most anything having to to with the PLC program and the VCP isn't going to work since its not connected to anything.

if you are interested in a demo, i'll be happy to arrange an online screen share session where you can ask questions and i'll demo or you can use it yourself and ask me questions. :-)
