Lathe CAM Z-Axis Exceeded <resolved>

Post by Measurement10 »

Using CNC12 Lathe CAM, i keep getting an error saying Z axis travel exceeded. Problem is its not. My Machine setup shows i have distance to go in machine co-ordinates, CAM stock length is set correctly, i cant seem to find where this error is coming from. Anyone have similar issues?

Your work offset is incorrect. Do you have Z0 set correct in the WCS with the correct tool offset? If machine coordinates show you have the travel, then those are the only to items that can affect the travel calculations.

Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.
