Re: Wrong tool-offset calculation with Emcoturn 120 ( Rear Tool-Turret)
we tested for it and found auto measure is working in your scenario but,
manual measure has a math bug in your scenario, it will be fixed in v5.2.
A beta will be released as v5.19 if you'd like to try it out before the official v5.2 release.

Re: Wrong tool-offset calculation with Emcoturn 120 ( Rear Tool-Turret)
There is also another math bug.
Setting a tool to X0 with manual measure and rear approach it adds 2x Parameter 281, front approach is ok.
So I have to measure with front approach, and after measuring it set it back to rear approach.

Re: Wrong tool-offset calculation with Emcoturn 120 ( Rear Tool-Turret)
Hello,
We've implemented a fix intended to resolve both of the math bugs mentioned. Our tests with the X and Z offsets showed promising results, so we hope this addresses the issues you've been experiencing.
The build can be found here: https://centroid-support.filemail.com/d/rluihmtphqyvmrh
As a heads up to anyone unfamiliar with updating from previous versions of CNC12:

Please let us know if you run into any problems during installation or if this fix doesn't seem to resolve the issue.
Thanks,
Michael

As a heads up to anyone unfamiliar with updating from previous versions of CNC12:
- I'd recommend renaming and creating a copy of your cncm/cnct directory so you can easily revert back to an older version if desired.
- You can use Ctrl+P to automatically create a PDF screen capture of every menu in the Wizard.
- Avoid using restore report when installing to prevent any potential issues.

Re: Wrong tool-offset calculation with Emcoturn 120 ( Rear Tool-Turret)
Acorn6 setup with Gang Tooling
Tool Measure with TT is ok for front and rear approach.
Manual X Measure rear also ok with X Diameter as a positive value
Rear tooling manual with X Diameter = 0 and nose vector 6 nok, it is adding two times the TT diameter to X like before.
Front with same tool and X Diameter = 0 is ok.
RTG is nok -> fatal error

Uwe,
Could you please provide a video of you performing each of your measurements with X Diameter = 0, especially the rear approach?
Thank you,
Michael
