Hi all,
Hopefully this should be an easy to answer question. I currently have a mill with a rev4 acorn running 4.64. Would I need to update in steps or is it ok to jump straight to 5.1? I have quite a few custom macros so I know those will need to be brought over manually. Thanks in advance!

Rename your existing cncm folder, screenshot your wizard pages and upgrade to the latest version

Re: Update path for legacy software
It's not really an update, You have to do a new installation. Having all of your old settings and info will be critical. If you want centroid to do it for you, I think they are $120 per hr.

Re: Update path for legacy software
Gotcha,
Clean install is easy, just wanted to make sure the board didn't need to see any other versions before the current one as it updated firmware etc.
Thanks!

Re: Update path for legacy software
cnc12 takes care of the Acorn's firmware for you so no worries. current version of CNC12 v5.1 is compatible with every Acorn every made.
