Hello,
Okay...some ignorant fool decided to switch up my motors, i.e. hence the knocking. Blah. What an idiot. Sorry...
Okay. So, I can get the motors communicating without knocking and CNC12 5.xx working well with VCP so far.
Still, I have no real communication with the motors:
That is my current report .zip file in case you see something odd...
If anyone has any time on their hands, just wishing pot luck here, please try to reply. I put in the two-wire, limiting switches and moved their switch location to the inputs on the DB25.
Is this the issue? Should I move them to the dedicated inputs on the actual hardware, i.e. Acorn CNC inputs that are powered via the 24v input?

Re: Some People and Communication
Okay,
I am starting to understand more from the Acorn CNC Manual. So, my current configuration is outdated and outstanding for error.
I have only two, count 'em, two limit switches on this machine. I do not have four limit switches for "out-of-bounds" or goin' to far and then for homing. Blah.
Is there any way around this idea for Centroid and the Acorn CNC? I mean...is it possible to get away with just homing switches are just limit switches?

Re: Some People and Communication
a reveal video should be available soon on some station online:
1. A youtube video is worthy for everyone putting up with me.
2. I need to wire the Laser to the laser enable PWM pin on the machine and then BAM, party time!
Seth
P.S. Thank you to anyone and everyone helping me with my oddities so far!
