Looking at the schematic for using the G540 with the acorn it shows two E-stop circuits. I searched on the internet for an estop switch that had two NC ( normally closed) circuits and did not find much. All I found were e-stop switches that one NC and one NO circuits. I did stumble across the writeup that is attached, that shows how you can take two garden variety E-stop s and turn it into an E-stop that has 2 NC stop circuits.

I did do searches for E-stops that were 2 NC and what I found was they are available but at a significantly higher prices whereas the e-stops that have one NC and one NO were available for about $6. So I bought the cheap ones and converted them.

Well...
I buy decent quality Estop buttons, when I need them to work, I want them to work....hate to spend a whole lot more money fixing the damaged because a cheap button didn't work.
Certainly up to you whatcha do....

Marty,
I am just getting my Acorn set up and your tip about making a 2 x NC E-Stop was very helpful!
Thanks
Gary
