Claearpat sdsk can't get to enable
Trying to do a favor for a f friend. I cannabalized a perfectly working 4 axis so he could use my motors. For all intents and purposes, this wiring mirror the one that was working. I hooking up a servo and cannot get it to enable. It works fine with the tuning software.

follow the schematics here.

24 vdc in doesn't look right at all to me, but im guessing since the wire goes out of the photo frame.

Re: Claearpat sdsk can't get to enable
Nothing looks right to me. If you would take the time to read the most recent revision of the Centroid schematics you would see that the Clearpath motors require 5v to the blue, white and black wires. You have them wired to 24 volts.
You also need resistors on the step, direction and enable lines per the schematic.
Are the motors configured correctly?
If you simply follow diagram S14971 you will see what you did wrong.

Does the enable LED for that axis turn green when you enter MDI or attempt to jog the axis?

Re: Claearpat sdsk can't get to enable
they'll take 5-24. resistors are needed, according to Teknic, when 10 feet or more. This worked perfectly on a mill.ShawnM wrote: ↑Wed Feb 21, 2024 8:57 am Nothing looks right to me. Re: Claearpat sdsk can't get to enable
I've always used 5v and resistors per the Centroid schematic no matter what the length was and they work perfectly every time so good luck.
