So I have the Y screw comp set with a "false backlash" of 2mm, i.e. set one column to 50.0 the other to 52.
The screw comp affects left = primary, it does not affect the paired one.
Also, must we restart when changing screw comp tables or Y/N flag for screw comp?
Is the protocol to select screw comp on the one Y axis, or also on paired, to get correct function?
Ideas?
In the following vid I am jogging back and forth twenty microns or so, the false backlash correction done as a test is pulling the left side motor, but the right side doesnt respond. In the report my backlash setting is 0.03mm, that detail is not relevant. This test is of the screw comp, and it's ability to affect both motors

Re: Paired Y axis, screw comp not affecting paired axis
Y comp should be applied to both axis 2 and axis 4. we are looking into it and trying to recreate your setup to reproduce it.

Re: Paired Y axis, screw comp not affecting paired axis
ok.. think we found what is going on.
try this as a test/work around. Label axis 4 as W, then copy cncm\cnc-y.tab file and rename the copy to "cnc-w.tab" to get a matching table and give that a try.
