5.07 Rev15 and graphing bug <fixed>

Post by Sword »

This isn't 100% reproducible, but once powered up and homed, load a file, graph that file, maybe zoom/rotate/pan or double click on a line, and then click ESC, you are kicked back to the "Machine not homed" screen partially hidden under the code of the loaded file. The machine is sort of unhomed, with the DRO's set back to dashes. Hit cycle start to home again, graph again, wash rinse repeat, and it happens again.

With further testing, it seems that once you right click and rotate while graphing and then ESC, the "Machine Not Homed" returns and the DRO's are back to dashes. But then again, just going into graphing and ECS back will sometimes trigger it.

Confirmed this on a second machine as well. If you need a video, let me know.

thanks for reporting. It's fixed now.

The 64 bit version was writing to a bad memory address when removing the rulers to draw an isometric view of the graph. The memory address happened to coincide with the "machine_home_set" boolean.

what about the Dro using wrong axis numbers? its in the video of mine you can see it. I had the 64 bit with rapid not working on fpr. if you watch the video x and z axis are wrong they are swapped.
