Acorn with Lasertree K40
I am thinking about purchasing the Lasertree K40 laser for our machine with an Acorn. It has a standard PWM input.
Has anyone had experience with this laser and setting it up on an Acorn?

Re: Acorn with Lasertree K40
I have another Lasertree on my mill.
You can use this schematic:
https://www.centroidcnc.com/dealersuppo ... 062.r2.pdf
I use Flood Cooling output for a valve to have air assist from my workshop compressor

Re: Acorn with Lasertree K40
Thanks, did you do anything with the parameters at all or just setting the outputs in the Acorn Wizard?

Re: Acorn with Lasertree K40
I set only PWM Output and Laser enable like shown in the schematic.
PWM Setup in the Wizard
PWN Enable = Yes
Base Frequency = 1000
PWM S command range = 1000
Inverse Output = NO
Laser Cooling Fan delay timer = 10
I will confugure the PWM Output myself = Yes
the other ones = No

Having read you post on fitting a laser on your mill I bought the same laser from Amazon UK
Using the Centroid schematic shown in your link I have the laser 'firing up'.
I am now ready to move from "bench test" setup to finalise the project.
I cannot get the connection as shown in the NEJE schematic to switch the 24VDC on and off using the two relays as shown.
Do I need to assign output one a function?
Does your set up turn on and off +24v supply?
Hope this makes sense...
Thank you

Re: Acorn with Lasertree K40
Thank you - did not see that in the literature or schematic.
I set this up tomorrow.

Output setup is in the upper left corner of the schematics:
