Over a year ago, I decided to convert my cnc router to an ATC. Along the way I saw a video that showed a ATC with a auto dust shoe, so why not give it go. This is a new hobby for me and it's been quite a learning experience, building a control cabinet along with separate cabinet for the VFD and a few other mods to the machine, trying to stiffen it up a bit.
Thanks to everyone here who has helped out during this build, without you guys this would never have happened
Here's a video (about 2 mins) and a picture of a part for what will be a small clamping table.

Looks great, does your post processor calculate the height of the dust shoe to material?
Thanks, Yes it does. I'm using Swiss's probe app with the ATC add-on that has a section to add a macro for what ever you want to happen before and after a tool change, which cncsnw wrote (thank you ). The dust shoe homes along with the other axis at start-up and uses the height offset using the probe. I just eyeball the bottom of the brush to the top of the tool setter enter that measurement in the macro, which only has to be done once and that's it.
