CNC12v 5.06
My lathe X and Z axis's have positive first and second axis home limit switches. Both home properly. When moving z in the + direction it will stop at the negative 7 inches set in the travel limits box -5.0 X travel limit is set at -5.0. It will move on past -5 inches and hits the hard stop at -5.8. I have searched for answers and reinstalled the CNC 12 v 5.06 lathe with no luck.

Re: Trouble with lathe X axis + soft limit
X axis limits on a lathe are actual travel (radius) so your limit should be set to -2.5".
Cheers,
Tom
Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Re: Trouble with lathe X axis + soft limit
I reset it to -2.5 and still moves until it hits a hard stop.
