Re: Migrate from Acorn Mill to Acorn Router
Thanks grossmsj and Shawn
I gave the skin a try on my Mill install and everything showed up as it should but the buttons of the feature I want are not working as they should, namely the "setxy0", "set_Z0", and "auto_z_plate". To double check things I reverted to a free install of acorn router and these button work as expected. I also noticed acorn Mill didn't have all the same Mfunc in the root folder as the acorn router. Does the router install have altered mfunc? Looks like I'll dive deeper into the macros.

Re: Migrate from Acorn Mill to Acorn Router
Now that you have the buttons you have to jump over top the VCP Aux Keys page in the wizard and make sure the button points to the proper macro. If you have the free router version look at what macro is run from the buttons that aren't working and copy them over to your mill version.
Again, this is all in the VCP manual you downloaded and read, right?

Re: Migrate from Acorn Mill to Acorn Router
Thanks Shawn
Yep just figure that out after diving into the manual. All working as it should now. Not sure how that could have been done without a acorn router installation showing the mapped mfuncs and containing the extra needed mfuncs. A couple more steps then a VCP skin swap.
muibubbles if you want to go this route
I can post a photo of setting of the VCP Aux Keys in the router wizard and send over the needed mfuncs that go into the root directly.

Re: Migrate from Acorn Mill to Acorn Router
Attached are a couple images of the VCP Aux Keys showing mapping for the router skin. Also include are all the mfuncXX found in the router install. First copy and past the needed ones into the root directory cncm then they will show up as option in Aux key.
