I have my first Oak build coming up, which is a six axis router (X, X, Y, Z, ATC and Servo control on the dust hood height).
As the OAK board is limited to four axes, I'll need to include a couple of Optidirect boards.
Though I have every confidence this is a robust solution, I would prefer an all on one board solution.
The recent release of the AcornSix board has me wondering if an OakSix board is on the horizon.
If anyone has anything to share on this...

Re: OakSix
Acorn6 is a step and direction board and requires a lot less I/O than the servo connections on the Oak board. There is physically not enough room to include 6 axis on the board.
Soon there will be a Hickory which will control 8 EtherCat axis.

Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Re: OakSix
Thanks Tom
The Hickory board sounds exciting, and will definitely be on my radar for future builds.
