My luck has been running out lately. I have a Ajax DM-45 that I use occasionally isn't starting. The computer isn't starting up. Checked the power supply and all's well there. The board was a Gigabyte GA-M68MT with a AM3 processor. There appears to be an additional board to accommodate a second ethernet cable.
So the question is other than the computer board meeting the performance specs, is there anything else I should be aware of?

Re: Ajax DM-45 w/all in one computer dead
That was running CNC11, so you can replace the PC with something that meets minimum specs. It is possible you can just hook up the harddrive if it is not what is actually dead. Most likely if it is still running Windows 7 you will have a hard him getting it to boot into Windows unless you have a similar motherboard. You can put it as a secondary drive on another computer to try to grab the files you need though.
It is possible your CMOS battery is dead. You can try jumpering the pins on the motherboard and see if it starts.
We do offer a MicroATX to NUC PC upgrade for $1565, it inlcudes the NUC PC, RAM, NVME SSD, Windows 10 License. We could issue an RMA and try and see what we can read off the old hard drive if you go that route.

and if you want to go the DIY route to replace the old PC you can buy a new PC that meets Centroid minimum specs (https://www.centroidcnc.com/cnc_pc_perf ... ments.html) and set it up yourself, copy/reset all the cnc config etc. yourself. following instructions in the Allin1DC install manual.

Re: Ajax DM-45 w/all in one computer dead
That is likely the only problem. the pins that Liviu refers to are the "PW" power-button pins in the F_PANEL header. That pair probably has a red-colored background behind them.It is possible your CMOS battery is dead. You can try jumpering the pins on the motherboard and see if it starts.

Yep I've already tried that and nothing. Re-seated the memory boards and processor. Pulled all connectors and re-installed. Nada. Already ordered a new computer. It's been a bad week, but I'm still in an ok mood. Thanks to everyone for their help!

Re: Ajax DM-45 w/all in one computer dead
Question before continuing. I purchased a Lenovo. Prepared it for use and wanted to see what files I needed to copy over from the old computer.
