Re: new one hit buttons question
I think it should refrain from cancelling tool offsets across the board, there seems to be no need for it whatsoever ? Like Uwe says it means you have to remember to manually MDI back to the correct tool offset, if you forget CRASH! It really is a problem for beginners.

Re: new one hit buttons question
The next one shot or program will call the right offset, it is only not so convenient if you want to use the tool manual....midy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 6:41 am I think it should refrain from cancelling tool offsets across the board, there seems to be no need for it whatsoever ? Re: new one hit buttons question
Where can I find out more about the one hit buttons. Is there somewhere where I can download the macros that make these one hit functions work?

Re: new one hit buttons question
For information about one-SHOT buttons, see page 310 in the mill manual, or page 236 in the lathe manual.
Cheers,
Tom
Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Re: new one hit buttons question
we added them to the wizard for easier setup.
lathe VCP includes them in the default skin
for mill or router, its up to the user to add the button to the VCP if they want them etc..

Re: new one hit buttons question
Is there a new lathe manual? Page 236 of the 4.20 manual doesn't have any info on the one-shot buttons.

Re: new one hit buttons question
we are working on updated Mill and Lathe v5.0 operators manuals as i type this.
the One Shot buttons are just a Intercon Canned Cycle.
read up on the Intercon section of the manual to become familiar with the canned cycles.
and i think Uwe posted a one shot video.

Re: new one hit buttons question
12.3.95 on page 237 of the 4.20 lathe manual. Missed it by one whole page.
It is on page 236 of the 4.22 manual located in the cnct\manuals directory on your control, or by pressing F5 CAM/F2 Manual in CNC12.

Ahh. I see what you are saying - the table that shows the one-shot assignment to aux keys. I was expecting something else I guess.
Thank you!
