New toy, works ok for engraving steel and cutting wood
Very cool what can be done with Acorn.

Re: Laser Cutting on a mill
Powersupply for the laser, I use 24V 3A.
If you want Air Assist, a pump or a solenoid valve for the compressor in your shop.
For cutting I recommend a laser honeycomb, reduces burnmarks on the backside.
I use lightburn to generate g-code.

Re: Laser Cutting on a mill
1: Have you had a chance to try that on anodized aluminum?
2: Anyone know if the AllinOne / CNC 12 version can handle this?

Re: Laser Cutting on a mill
Is this a 40 watt version? I do not see that one available. Also I am looking to get clean cuts in .125" plexi. Have you tried that yet. Just curious.
Thank you

Re: Laser Cutting on a mill
No only cheap 10W, Lasertree have max 30W 6 diode laser modules.
Good addon is a laser honeycomb. .125" plexi works clean with 10W, needs 2-3 passes, thats cleaner than one slow pass.
