ITNC 530 can also not read splines form DXF
And if you are complaining about costs, try to buy a new ITCN 530 from Haidenhain
Uwe

Yes the translation is not perfect and not complete ( I tested the german version )
Thats why I use native english, also lots of CNC stuff is only available in english.
I also perfer hand coding or Intercon for simple parts, because I only have pencil sketches most time.
But if I have DXF or STL, I am faster with fusion. Post Processor from Swissi is very reliable. Post and runs for me without problems.

En plus si je veux le manuel en français je suis obligé de le payer 60eur chez le fournisseur français
Encore une fois ce n'est pas normal il devrait être téléchargeable gratuitement dans toutes les langues

Acorn is a DIY CNC with a low pricetag for a small market...
To make a complete translation of the UI there are about 7200 lines to translate/edit.
If this should be perfect you need someone how knows all the technical terms in English and the second language.
Lets assume he needs 60h for the job charging 90€/h that is 5400€ per language-
And the manuals are still in English
At the end all users have to pay a lot for translations they do not need. People at Centroid or the dealer can not work for free.
So I am happy the way it is.
But If you want, edit the language file to your liking, or hire someone to do it for you.
Maybe during one of the upgrade cycles (after Acorn and Servo are unified, of course , the programmers could move all of the I18N stuff into a single file to make it easier to crowdsource translations.
At that point, hopefully, some of the international users could post translations for their native languages.
Cheers,
Tom
Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.
