Post Processor Sheet Cam/Fusion 360
Attached in this Post is the Post Processor for Sheetcam and Fusion 360.
I've also created a short video on how to set up path rules for commanded slower feed rates in Sheetcam.
New is the Sheetcam Rotary Post Processor. Any issues with this post please report back your findings

Re: Post Processor Sheet Cam/Fusion 360
Update: I have used the Fusion 360 post now and it works great. My workflow is much better now not having to use Sheetcam.
Thank you Joey

Thank you Joey

Re: Post Processor Sheet Cam/Fusion 360
Joey,
I use the Fusion PP which is very basic. I want to mark (center punch) small holes which the Fusion post doesn't do. Does the Sheet Cam post have support for marking and possibly feed reduction for small holes? Other features not in the Fusion post?
I use the Fusion post because I use Fusion 360 CAD/CAM on my Acron cnc mill and didn't want to learn another CAM program

Re: Post Processor Sheet Cam/Fusion 360
Hi
New to the forum and I'm trying to get Sheetcam to work with my Acorn control.
I have downloaded the post processor but when I try to run the code I get a syntax error.
I am not using the Acorn THC but I am using another THC, I have edited the post to accept my arc ok signal but that's all.
I have attached a photo of my screen (I hope)
Thanks in advance Andy

Can you attach a fresh report from the Acorn please.
Acorn Plasma PLC looks for an ARC OK input assigned in the Wizards input definition menu.
This is handled outside of the G-Code.
The M61 is the Pierce cycle in the Gcode. The M61 starts the Torch at the Pierce height and waits for the ARC OK input on the Acorn to close before finishing the M61 Macro.
Without Centroids THC the Profiles THC Config Menu should not be set to installed.
CNC12 software with the THC Config Settings set to THC installed will cause other issues since CNC 12 will be looking at the encoder port where nothing is connected.
So just Stay with the unedited Post from Sheetcam. There should only be M61 at the begging of a cut and M62 at the end of the cut.
With the ARC OK Signal connected and assigned to an Acorn Input from the Plasma cutter, The PLC should take care of the Pierce delays and X/Y motion without any other M codes.

Re: Post Processor Sheet Cam/Fusion 360
Hi Joey
Many thanks for the reply.
I'm not running Acorn Plasma I'm running the machine with Acorn Mill. The Acorn was purchased some years ago before the Plasma software was released.
It's just the feedrate syntax error I cannot get my head around. Does the Acorn Plasma handle Sheetcam differently?
I will get a report posted as soon as I can ,but it could be a week before I'm with the machine again.
Kind Regards
Andy
