He is the sheep leading us wolves to slaughter! Sorry Uwe I didn't do it on purpose. Could you please make things look a little more difficult and take more time? Please post a face picture so I can print it out and throw darts at you.suntravel wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 5:47 amWho is Ewe ?Black Forest wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 2:00 am Keith, would you please ban Ewe. He has certainly raised the bar around here about what you can do on a lathe.Black Forest wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 6:29 amHe is the sheep leading us wolves to slaughter! Re: Simultaneous 4 axis moves on a lathe
If you look at a Centroid A560 doing headporting, my stuff is low level
Only some reverse engineering of Polyform (a feature on Traub CNC lathes since 1986) and 1000 years old math from Abu Nasr Mansur
With Acorn we got top level motion control on a DIY budget, so lets do something with it....

Re: Simultaneous 4 axis moves on a lathe
I made today a new live tooling for the lathe driven by an AC Servo, not so noisy like the Makita and ER20 collets.
Cleanout in Intercon is a very fast and handy tool for 2.5D milling.
