This machine was built in 2006 or 2007.
Y & Z steppers are from MCG IH23014 - company was bought and no longer makes steppers.
X axis is from Automation Direct SureStep STP-MTR-23055 and still available
Coil Pairs are Brown/Orange and Yellow/Red at connector. 6 Wire exiting the steppers.

I changed all the DB9 leads to correct locations and added the resistors. Everything is moving from the screen!!
Looking back, there were three key issues, first was getting the computer ethernet set properly, then pushing "load drive" in the wizard and finally the DB wiring that nobody could see.
