SIMODRIVE 611 system on VMC

Post by MacCustom »

I have a Cinncinati 1250 VMC with bad Acramatic A2100 control. The drive system that works is a SIMODRIVE 611. All servo motors Encoders are present. The machine is also equipped with Renishaw probe and tool setter. Is a Cenroid product available to interface to my machine?

There are various models of SIMODRIVE 611. Even if you have a "universal" model, I will say no, it will not interface. The drive needs a single ended -10 to 10V analog speed request input or differential quadrature position request input. In my quick search of the manual, I did not see either of those.

you can use an OAK controller and change out the encoders and run the simodrive 611. I've done it on mine and it works just fine.
